Abigail Fisher

Abigail was a late comer to the sport of windsurfing but upon her first go at it, she was completely hooked. Her passion and enthusiasm led her to uproot herself from New York City and relocate to the windiest city in the continental US, San Francisco. On any given afternoon during the windy season, you might find Abigail tearing it up at her favorite spot, Crissy Field. With the spectacular Marin Headlands, iconic Golden Gate Bridge, and scenic Angel Island as backdrops, it is no wonder Abigail thrills at windsurfing there.

The first time Abigail ever demo'd a Hot Sail she was a convert. For gusty high wind conditions, Abigail prefers her custom 3.7 Super Freak that bears the Golden Gate Bridge detail. In less gusty conditions you can regularly find Abigail on her 4.0 or 4.5 Firelights (in custom colors) ripping it up underneath the Golden Gate Bridge or trying Backwind Jibes at Anita Rock.

By day, Abigail consults as a Social Media Strategist for Recommind, a leading enterprise software company in the Big Data and eDiscovery landscape. Through her business, Arque Creative, she also provides education and training to an array of other clients hoping to make sense of the social media landscape to serve their marketing needs (http://arquecreative.com).

Abigail has been a fantastic ambassador for Hotsails helping us to co-host demo's across the Bay Area, coordinating activities with other Hot Sails Team Riders, and offering up rigging tips and advice. She is a welcome and valued addition to the Hot Sails family.
