Max Schettewi

My name is Max Schettewi. I first learned to windsurf while visiting Aruba with my family when I was 4 years old. We moved to Aruba when I was 6 years old for several years. In Aruba, I competed in the Aruba Hi Winds making the podium several times. Several years later, we moved to Jupiter Florida where I competed in local events including the Miami Slalom Series with podium finishes.

My family moved to Maui in July 2014. Wave sailing has become my passion and I recently competed in the Aloha Classic. Ho'okipa and Kanaha are my favorite sailing sites. My favorite sail is the KS3 4.0m.
