The Fusion Wave is a totally new sail designed with fast, smooth sailing in mind. It
loves to be pushed hard in waves or high wind.
This sail was requested by our customers, and then designed by the designers. Often it is
the other way around. Customers wanted a sail that could handle the high wind chop of the
gorge, and still lash out on a Maui wave. They wanted a super high quality sail built
tough for years of riding.
Designers Jeffrey Henderson and Tom Hammerton worked with these constraints, and
developed the smoothest wave sail ever.
The result is the Fusion Wave. It has 3 different X-ply laminates, a PVC window, 175
micron monofilm, and full gridlock reinforcing. The unique lowered PVC window softens the
feel, and the batten right in the boom area smooths the power in a way a single cam can
not.
Range and versatility are the words that best describe the function, while silky and wild
are its heart.
