This is an exciting sail to say the least! All the design advances made with the Slide in the last year, plus the proven construction of the lightest production wave sail ever made, the Spiderlok resulting in a dramatic new sail.

The idea is simple, the result fantastic. Thousands of sailors enjoy the lightweight sails that include the Gridlok from 1992-1995, and the Spiderlok from 1996-1999. There is not another sail on the market to satisfy these sailors. Now the most radical construction concept combines with the best in contemporary sail design to deliver super light power in a wide range of conditions.

We have been selling sails on Maui since May and the response is shocking. I thought only the hard core Spiderlok sailors would want this design, but we have orders from new local riders that never even considered a Hot Sail before. The aggressive and innovative design draws people in.

One of the slick new features is the removable vario top. This allows sailors with the correct short mast (nothing sticking out the top) to use the sail with a fixed top. No extra webbing and buckles to add weight and hassle. If a longer mast must be used, the vario top threads quickly and is pre marked with standard mast length settings of 400, 430 and or 460.

The sail of choice for "Super Dave Osborn"

"Hi! I've finally got my thre first SpideSlides, 4.0 - 4.7 - 5.9 while I'm waiting
for the 5.3 and 6.3. I've had the luck to test them first in Barbados last
week,( 4.7 & 5.9) and I've been so impressed on what a good work you've done
on those sails. I had to jump directly from 5.9 to 4.7 (and they say they can't handle so much
wind!) Riding was a joy with less power in the back hand, but the early
planing was there anyway!
Hope to get the new ones soon!"
