Designed with ease of use and lightweight handling in mind, the
FReesail delivers a no compromise sail for all around fun sailing.
You will immediately notice the unique look of the FReesail with its use
of our exclusive opaque film material that has a greater resistance to ultraviolet
breakdown than conventional monofilm. It is a slightly lower tenacity film
and takes abuse such as crushing and wrinkling better than conventional
monofilms.
The design concept is simple- the sail allows use of nearly any mast made
in the past 5 years by any manufacturer, and is extremely easy to rig due
to low mast curvature. The large sizes all have one camber, while the 2
smallest are camber less for added ease of use. The sail is suited for larger
boards with more power for "get up and go".
Of course construction is on par with all Hot Sails Maui sails, 5 step seam
construction, double sided patches and batten pockets, Rip stop sleeve material
are all standard.
