What type of music do you do?
Everything from Rage Against The Machine to Oscar Peterson... My own stuff too.
While on Maui I chose to use a standard international repetoire. You know the stuff one could imagine hearing in a hotel lobby.
Thanks for asking
Do you have a wedding coming up?
I wanted to marry about a dozen girls last year but alas, not yet. Can you improvise in the blues and rock? I play hundreds of songs and would love a hot accompanyment. I can book us if you're here. Bob

Thanks Bob! I´ll keep that in mind once I return... Yes I can improvise. What instrument do you play?
I play at the guitar and have for many years. Mine is simple chords and popular rock and roll or blues songs, a Hawaiian or two and some country.
I wonder where (and how) local people lives? I checked houses and condos listings, NOTHING under $300K! I don't think working peolple can afford 2K mortgage.

Renters also bear the weight of these prices. A room in a surf house was once $300, not $750!
Who is guy on the picture? Friend of yours?
I believe if you are a skilled mechanic you will find a job at our dealership working on Audi, KTM, Kawasaki, jet-skis, etc. or for a large auto company like B.M.W. I doubt you'll find the money to your liking unless you see it as a 'means-to-an-end'. Most of us work for less than we're worth or accustomed just to be able to stay Maui. Most jobs don't have Kanaha, Spreckelsville, Ho'okipa, Honolua and Ma'alaea within a 10 minute to an hour drive eh?
I'd echo what Mystery Bob says on this. Obviously you're accustomed to more than the typical auto mechanic salary and would have to get something with a high-end service organization like Audi or BMW to continue the style of life you're likely accustomed to with your IT salary. Perhaps you should look into specializing in IT-related work for one of those dealerships on the island? A niche like that would probably give you an edge of the average JOJ!
I planning to move on island at end of August. Looking for cheap place to stay for about 2 weeks. I hope to find permanent place to stay in that two weeks. Hostel will not work, I'm already 50
Any ideas? Giampolo?

are you bringing some philly cheese steaks wit you?
Sure! I also have to bring Philly's TastyKake for captain Greg.
The only High Tech I'd work in is the surf shop in Kahului... not even that, actually!
They are stoked that during your free time you do work for them at Hi-Tech Surf and Sports. Alex wouldn't want most most applicants
Good job at retrieving that statement, Bob.
Contraddicting myself has always been on of my specialties...
They might be stoked, but I'm stoked too to work there. Alex is flat out one of the best persons I've ever met.
