Topic: New board, but too cold here to test it now...

Took some pictures of my new hollow wooden longboard. It's basically just a normal longboard, but with a mast track. It's just big enough (10'0" x 24" x 3 1/4") to do some comfortable longboard sailing on it in small to moderate surf.

Aw, man, if you're gonna post pics like that (similar appearance to here), you gotta snurf it. Pretty woodwork.

Who needs a bobsled!?

Hi Windfriend, (or Winfried?)

nice board.
If my guess above is right:
May i see it in Viana next year? I've bought a longboard too now, Tabou Windstyler Small, a WindSup, more windsurforiented, as for the Classic surf i've got my Southpoint 7'6.

Nice x-mas for you and your "braga-giese" wife. :-)

Alex (with the LORCH boards)

Hi Alex,

Nice to find you here on the HSM forum. If you see it in Viana depends on the time you'll be there ;-) I am in Portugal (Braga) right now, and the forecast for surfing looks good for tomorrow :-P  So it will be 'baptized' tomorrow.....

Hi Winfried,

i hit the HSM forum searching infos on longboard sailing.
Viana is on the schedule for the first 4 weeks of August, as every year.
Waves look good for tomorrow at the windguru, i would like to be there too catching some waves.

Keen to here how the board sails.

See you, Alex
