Yes, and last year wind only peaked at 4-5 knots!

Hey, thanks guys. I think that may be enough to sway things. What sort of accommodation is available that time of year for the budget minded traveller.

Dolf, I also have a Joanna, although mine doesn't sail, but she is partial to sitting in a deck chair in the tropical sun :-).

really!? which two? I was planing on taking my own kit, but may be tempted to just hire sails out there..

EDIT: Found it, Ibi and friends in Dahab. I'm heading to Dahab but going to store kit with Vass as we know people, but good to know for future shorter term holiday plans.
