There is a restaurant in Las Vegas serving authentic poi, purple sweet potatoes, poke and other popular Hawaiian foods. So many Hawaiian property owners here were land rich but cash poor, they couldn't pay their taxes and survive so they sold their homes to the California money and moved to Las Vegas where it's affordable. People have pointed out that truth is stranger than fiction.
