Topic: Welcome

So this morning I walked into the HSM shop and I explained Jeff that I would like to have a forum to be able to discuss some subjects with my blog readers in a way that the comments on the blog don't really allow, because they usually die when the new posts push them down...

Five minutes later, I had a forum.

He didn't care if he was going to sell more sails, he didn't care if he was going to get more traffic on his site... he just thought it would be interesting for everybody (hopefully he was right).

He should be president of the USA! :-)

Here I will open topics of various kinds: environmental, political, philosophical, lifestyle, music... pretty much everything I think would be interesting.
And of course you guys can ask me whatever you want. Be ready for a straight, frank answer.

PS. For the ones that don't know me, there's a little profile on my blog.

Re: Welcome

Lano,

you didn't disappoint me a bit.
I hope it's gonna be a good forum. Tomorrow morning I may have the time to post a first topic...

Re: Welcome

Actually, let's make him vice-president... and Michael Moore for president.

I just saw his last movie Sicko... and it made me feel sick!

Maybe he exaggerates a bit on how good the health systems of other countries are (come on, not all doctors in England can afford a million dollar house!), but he doesn't exaggerates at all in describing how bad the american one is.
Pretty much, he nailed yet another movie. I really like his style.
Too bad not too many americans will see the movie.
Not as many as the ones that will see Harry Potter, for sure...

Re: Welcome

One thing for all the forum users:
Please, let's try to use the quote thing only if it's really relevant. Like, if the quoted post was made a few posts ago or if the reference to the quoted post is not clear.
In other words, if you're replying to a post just before yours, no need to quote it.

This will minimize the occupation of the disk space of this forum who is gently hosted by HSM and will also train your "let's try not to waste anything" attitude...
Thanks!
