A 2 cam sail in sizes 5.0 to 7.5 and 3 cam from 8.0 to 10.3 with a low-forward deep-draft foil that maximizes control even in fully blazing wind conditions.       The X-Ply luff and unique batten layout also helps keep the leading edge of the sail tight and rigid further increasing the stability of this sail and decreasing the swing weight. The Formula D’s head opens and twists efficiently in light air.

Its lightweight also adds to early acceleration and a powerful ride even in light winds. The low foot and high aspect outline is ideal for closing the gap and riding the sail aft in the mast track for minimal wetted surface. The mast sleeve has been cut smaller for easy water starting and up hauling. The cams have been bolted directly into the sail for the simplest rigging available. The HOT cams will not slip off the mast when rigging…simply thread the mast into the sleeve and onto the cams, down haul and out haul and hit the water.
