Hot Sails Maui team rider Raimondo Gasperini finished with an impressive 3rd place finish.

The conditions in Sardinia were epic this year with mast high waves and strong winds. With a stacked fleet of Italy’s best wave sailors the competition was fierce. The contest was held at Cala Pischina which is one of the most radical wave sailing spots in Italy. This break is very difficult to negotiate with rocks making the launch a challenge. Despite the challenging conditions Raimondo ripped up the waves in his heats climbing all the way to third place behind sailors G. Pischedda and 2nd placed A.Rosati.
