Ida Boesen

Ida is one of our teenage riders that braves the harsh Danish cold with a passion! Ida is from Denmark and can be seen sailing her local spot ?Veddelev? whenever the wind blows. She travels to Klitm?ller in the summer and is rapidly becoming noticed on the water. Only in her 3rd year of sailing Ida plans to spend the summer on Maui and see where the wind takes her! Ida sails on Diva sails and is also sponsored by Roxy.
JACE PANEBIANCO

Jace Panebianco is a hard sailor to classify. While he competes on the PWA world tour in Freestyle (Ranked 28th), he is also competitive in racing and wavesailing. The odd thing is that competition isn't what is important to Panebianco. Jace's motivation lies in the adventure--he finds this in the form of travel stories and boat trips, Trans Atlantic Races and inventing new moves like the Crazy Pete!

Matt has sailed on Hot Sails Maui since 1986, as our loyalist team rider, and we are STOKED to have him.
JEFFREY SUTHERLAND

Jeffrey Sutherland spends his winters training on Maui?s north shore and his summers tearing up the west coast from his home in Victoria, British Columbia to the coasts of Oregon and California. Jeff is a complete natural when it comes to windsurfing whether he is freestyle sailing or wave sailing. In the winter 2004 ? 2005 Jeff turned many a head by challenging some of the biggest double mast high waves conditions on Maui with a total balls to the walls type approach. You can spot Jeff?s custom Canadiana SuperFreak from miles away and when you do be sure to say: ?How?s it goin, eh!??you won?t be sorry! Keep rippin it up brudda!

A bright boy who loves life and windsurfing, Jugens big events outside windsurfing and school are some new teeth coming in! In 2004 Jurgen was able to sailin both Lake Garda, Italy and on Maui, not bad for 7 years old.
BRIAN TALMA

TORBEN SONNTAG

Torben is one of Germany's most innovative windsurfers. He likes trying new moves and puts his own style into the maneuvers he does. He usually sails around northern Germany and Denmark. In the winter you?ll find him windsurfing at beaches around Capetown in South Africa and for years he returns to Maui every September & October for the big waves. He is more the soul surfer type of guy who sails for his own and doesn?t really like contests too much.
RAIMONDO GASPERINI

Raimondo is the Italian leader of new school freestyle and is the master of port tack tricks. Innovating bizarre moves like back loops coming IN through the surf (!!) set him apart from the mere twirlers of the freestyle circuit. Raimondo has won nearly every Italian event he has entered in the last few years. Look for Riamondo in PWA freestyle events. His secret weapon is the Psyclone, especially in light winds.
BRAD DRUMMOND

Canadian Brad Dummund likes cold water. When not frozen solid, Brad is a loose fun sailor who loves to experiment. He thaws out while summering in Gorge and graces Maui's beaches every so often too. He has sailed the globe but tends to enjoy the northern latitudes. On a recent trip to Norway, Brad found the original iceberg his family descends from.
KALANI HUNT

10 year old Kalani is a self motivated, very driven young sailor on Maui. He is seen sailing EVERY day on Maui in the summer and every windy non-school day during the school year. Kalani is the son of Doug Hunt, the first sailor to complete a back loop in the 80s. Kalani is into sailing, surfing, working out, school, and socializing. SIERRA EMORY

Sierra is our big Hawaiian waterman and the man who spends the most time at Jaws. The Smack is his sail of choice as he needs good power and absolute durability. (look for a sick video coming soon showing him testing the sail to the absolute maximum) At 6'2 and nearly 200lbs, Sierra can really push the limits.
HIDEHIKO FUKUSHIMA

Hidehiko is a hard core wave sailor that lives and sails in Japan. Living in Tokyo, but traveling throughout Japan Hidehiko has sailed most prime wave spots in his country. Hidehiko is also a contributor to the Japanese windsurf media and offers clinics.
JENNIFER HENDERSON

Jennifer Henderson is currently the undisputed queen of Ho'okipa. A good example of this was Monday October 28th 2002 when a huge swell at Ho'okipa kept all the pros off the water due to 30+ ft waves and light wind. All pros except Jennifer who ripped it up for 1.5 hours alone. Jennifer is responsible for the Diva sail line and Diva board line from Starboard.
